TSBT aims to restore and protect the sand dunes of the Tomahawk and Smaills areas by promoting public awareness, improving the aesthetic and amenity values of the area, and restoring the natural freshwater systems.

We are committed to collaboration with our community, local and national coastal protection groups, NGOs and Government agencies alike.

We work to acheive our aims by:

• managing our own nursery, lead by our Nursery Manager to support the plant and volunteer programmes;

• maintaining key partnerships;

• having an engaged Trust and committee focused on long-term strategy;

• being a sustainable operation.

We have a governance framework that outlines our Trust's policies and processes, an operation manual for our day-to-day Nursery work (reviewed Jan 2018) and a 25-year strategic plan.
